After-Bath Rinse for Cats and Dogs
A vinegar-based final rinse that helps remove leftover shampoo residue and leaves the coat with extra shine — gentle enough for both dogs and cats.

Yield: About 4 cups rinse
Ingredients
4 cups warm water
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

After a full shampoo and rinse, mix vinegar into warm water.

Pour the mixture slowly over the coat, avoiding the eyes and ears.

Massage gently through the fur down to the skin.

Rinse lightly with plain water if desired, or towel dry directly.

Repeat with each regular bath as a finishing step.
