Cedar Sachet Flea Deterrent
Small cedar chip sachets tucked into a dog’s bed or crate — cedar’s scent is a traditional deterrent for fleas in bedding, not a treatment for a dog already carrying fleas.

Bake: No cooking required
Yield: 2–3 sachets
Ingredients
1 cup untreated cedar chips or shavings
Small breathable cloth bags
Directions

Fill each small cloth bag with a handful of cedar chips.

Tie or sew the bags closed securely.
2.
Tuck one sachet under or beside the dog’s bedding, out of chewing reach.
3.
Place additional sachets in crates or favorite resting spots.
4.
Replace sachets every few weeks as the scent fades.
Storage Tip
Store unused cedar chips in a sealed bag away from moisture.
