Steep the tea bag in hot water for 5 minutes, then let cool completely.

Soak a clean cloth in the cooled tea.

Gently trim any fur covering the hot spot if the dog tolerates it, to help air reach the area.
3.
Press the cool, damp cloth against the hot spot for 5–10 minutes.
4.
Keep the dog from licking or scratching the area, and schedule a vet visit if it doesn’t improve within a day.
