Dog Treat Recipe
Gentle Eye Wipe Solution
A saline-based wipe for clearing everyday tear staining and eye-area buildup around the face — stop and call a vet if the eye looks red, cloudy, or painful.

Yield: About 1 cup solution
Ingredients
1 cup distilled water
1/4 tsp non-iodized salt
Soft cotton pads

Dissolve the salt completely in distilled water to make a mild saline solution.

Dampen a cotton pad with the solution.

Gently wipe the fur around, not directly on, the eye, moving away from the eye each stroke.
3.
Use a fresh pad for each eye to avoid spreading any irritation.
4.
Pat the area dry with a clean, soft cloth afterward.
Storage Tip
Store in a sealed, sterile container in the refrigerator and use within a week.
