Dog Treat Recipe
Natural Ear Cleaner
A simple vinegar-and-water rinse for routine ear cleaning between vet checkups — skip this entirely if the ear looks red, swollen, or smells off, and see a vet instead.

Ingredients
1/4 cup distilled water
1/4 cup plain white vinegar
Cotton balls or soft gauze

Mix water and vinegar together in a clean container.

Dampen a cotton ball with the solution — never pour liquid directly into the ear canal.

Gently wipe the visible, outer part of the ear, avoiding the ear canal itself.
3.
Let the dog shake its head, then wipe away any excess.
4.
Reward with a treat, since many dogs find ear handling uncomfortable at first.
Storage Tip
Store the mixed solution in a sealed container at room temperature for up to two weeks.
