Natural Pet Repellent
A general-purpose citrus-and-vinegar spray for keeping insects at bay during outdoor time — a light, everyday layer of protection alongside a proper vet-recommended preventive.

Bake: Steep 30 minutes
Yield: About 2 cups spray
Ingredients
1 lemon, sliced
1 cup water
1 cup white vinegar

Simmer lemon slices in water for 10 minutes, then let steep off heat for 20 minutes.

Strain out the lemon and mix the liquid with vinegar.

Pour into a spray bottle.

Lightly mist the coat before outdoor time, avoiding the eyes and face.

Reapply every few days or after bathing.
Storage Tip
Refrigerate the mixed spray and use within one week.
