Oatmeal Bath for Itchy Skin
A finely ground oatmeal soak is one of the gentlest ways to ease mild, occasional itching — persistent or worsening itchiness still deserves a vet’s attention.

Ingredients
1 cup plain, unflavored oats, ground into a fine powder
Warm (not hot) bathwater

Grind plain oats in a blender or food processor until they form a fine powder.

Fill the tub or basin with warm water and stir in the oat powder until it clouds the water.

Wet the dog thoroughly, then pour the oat-water mixture over the coat, working it in gently.

Let it sit for 5–10 minutes before rinsing thoroughly with clean water.
4.
Towel dry and keep the dog warm until fully dry.
Storage Tip
Mix fresh for each use; ground oat powder itself keeps in a sealed jar for a few months.
