Puppy Go Away
A bitter-tasting spray for furniture, shoes, or cords a puppy insists on chewing — a training aid, not a substitute for supervision and appropriate chew toys.

Yield: About 1 cup spray
Ingredients
1 cup water
2 tbsp white vinegar
1 tsp bitter apple extract

Mix all ingredients together in a spray bottle.

Test on a small hidden area of furniture or fabric first, since the mix can slightly discolor some materials.

Lightly spray onto items the puppy shouldn’t chew.

Reapply every day or two, and after any cleaning.

Pair with plenty of appropriate chew toys so the puppy has a clear alternative.
Storage Tip
Store the mixed spray at room temperature for up to two weeks.
