Weaning Formula
A soft, easy-to-eat gruel for helping puppies transition from nursing to solid food around three to four weeks of age.

Ingredients
1 cup puppy-formula milk replacer, prepared per label instructions
1 cup high-quality puppy kibble, softened in warm water

Prepare the milk replacer according to the package instructions.

Soak puppy kibble in warm water until very soft, then mash into a paste.

Blend the softened kibble with the milk replacer to a thin, pudding-like consistency.
3.
Offer in a shallow dish several times a day, gradually thickening the mixture over 1–2 weeks.
4.
Consult a vet on timing and portions specific to the litter’s breed and size.
Storage Tip
Prepare fresh for each feeding; do not leave out longer than an hour.
