Origins: Australian Shepherds
were bred in the Western United States
as herd dogs, it was thought to do descend
from Collie stock. It is believed that
the original stock has roots in Spain
and was used there by shepherds.
Description: Australian Shepherd
dogs are agile, solid and muscular dogs.
Australian Shepherds are able to pivot
quickly and many are born with bobbed
tails, while others have long tails. Australian
Shepherds have varying colored eyes and
they often even are mismatched.
Size: Australian Shepherds weigh
between 40–65 lbs, they stand 18to 23
inches tall.

a long, silky, double coat, that comes
tri-colored(black/red), bi-colored (black/red)

the tendency to herd young childrens and
other small pets.
